In fact, when viewed through a microscope, the atypical mole has features that are in-between a normal mole and a melanoma.

It is reported that about 1 in every 10 Americans has at least one atypical mole. While they are considered pre-cancerous, or more likely to turn into melanoma than regular moles, we are reassured that not everyone who has atypical moles gets melanoma. In most cases, ordinary and atypical moles never become cancerous.

Clean and dry the affected area. Apply the product directly to the mole and rub in gently. Repeat three times a day.

HOW THEY WORK:

Science
Moles are skin pigmentations and are usually harmless and do not require removal. Moles are the result of skin pigmentations that goes down from the skin surface to the deeper layer of the skin. Moles that appear at birth are called congenital nevi and dysplastic nevi or atypical moles just develop as the person goes older.

Moles can be caused by too much sun exposure and just tend to appear in the areas where the skin catches the most sunlight. Moles have 50 years lifecycle only and usually it appears in the mid twenties of life and will disappear with age. Moles also appear because of hormonal changes caused by adolescence or pregnancy.

The most common cause of moles is too much sun exposure. The strong UV-rays that lead to skin sunburn presents a risk of developing malignant melanoma. Going to tanning saloons and sun beds had been suggested to cause moles. The risk of malignant melanoma is detected through the skin’s changes of behavior.

Most moles are treated by dermatologist. If the mole is benign, there is no need to be removed; however malignant melanomas should be removed surgically to prevent spreading. These treatments can be invasive but there is no guarantee that the moles will not re appears again in the future.

Origins
We traveled the world over looking for the perfect essential oil sources for our Mole formula. Because so many ingredients are required and our standards are so high, no single source would ever do. Consequently, we purchase our certified organic essential oils from farm/distilleries all over the world. Most are in remote areas far from pollution, and at higher altitudes where the air is cleaner. From Nepal to central Australia, from Chile to Egypt, from Morocco to Madagascar, we’ve spared no expense, selecting only the most ecologically aware and organically run farms for our products.

Processing
The plants are harvested at the height of their season when antiviral and anti-microbial properties are at their peak, rendering essential oils of the highest possible potency. Steam distilling takes place on premises immediately following the harvest, when newly cut plants are fresh. Our oils are distilled slowly, at a low temperature and pressure, unlike the distillation process for the perfume industry. Due to high demand and lesser regard for quality, they use higher temperatures for a faster yield.

Testing
At Pure Healing, we combine our biochemical background specializing in plant medicine, certified all natural organic formulations, and long history of medical expertise to develop a superior quality and most efficacious mole treatment.

Pure Healing tests all of our oils for purity and safety, formulates all our treatments under pharmacological guidelines, and uses only those organic oils that are approved for therapeutic use. While we require our farmers to conduct chromatographic testing to insure purity and quality, we also verify their findings by outsourcing to an independent scientific laboratory here in the states. The lots of essential oils and their respective test results arrive at our offices in San Francisco, California. We then send off samples of each lot to an independent lab in Santa Barbara, California, for testing via the aromatogram technique. Only after this second set of testing reconfirms the efficacy (antiviral and antimicrobial potency) and quality of the oils do we incorporate them into our products.

Recipe
The special formulas we use to blend our Mole treatments were developed collaboratively with leaders in the industry of plant medicine. The trials and testing took years and our products did not reach the market until we were sure we had the safest, highest quality treatment possible.

Mole Care is different than conventional medical treatments which commonly resort to acid or chemical solutions. Some doctors even prefer cauterization or burning in an attempt to remove the moles, while others recommend surgery, all of which result in tissue damage .

Surgery could result to scarring. Smaller nevi are “shaved off” while larger ones are cut out with the remaining skin sewn together over the wound. When a nevus or mole is much larger, it is removed in stages with several operations. The resulting wound is then covered with a skin graft. The graft comes out scarred as well as thinner and more fragile than normal skin. There are also cases when melanoma developed from nevus cells left behind under the skin graft, and the pigment reappeared.
